Cancellation, returns & faulty goods

Saving a request alone does not create a paid order. If you later agree a purchase, the applicable cancellation and statutory goods rights depend on that agreement.

Changing an unconfirmed request

If you no longer want an enquiry considered, contact the business with the saved reference. No payment is collected by this website and no stock is reserved by the request itself. Changing your browser cart does not automatically cancel an agreement made separately, so explain clearly whether you mean an enquiry or an agreed purchase.

Distance-sale cancellation

For many consumer distance purchases of goods, there is a right to cancel within 14 days after receipt, subject to applicable statutory exceptions. Tell the trader clearly that you wish to cancel and identify the agreement. The precise position depends on the transaction; a later purchase should include the information the law requires before you agree to buy.

Exceptions and handling

Some statutory cancellation exceptions can apply, for example to certain goods made to a consumer’s specification. This website does not offer personalisation, and it does not claim all gifts are exempt from cancellation. You may inspect goods as you could in a shop; handling beyond what is necessary may affect a refund where the law permits a deduction.

Arranging the return

Contact the business before sending goods so the destination and instructions can be confirmed. Where cancellation applies, goods normally need to be returned within 14 days of notifying cancellation. Keep evidence of dispatch. Do not assume the company address is the correct parcel destination. Return costs may depend on information given before the agreement and the reason for the return.

Refunds for valid cancellation

Applicable law governs reimbursement, including basic outbound delivery charges where required. A trader may be entitled to wait for returned goods or evidence they were sent back. Refunds are generally made by the original payment method unless a lawful alternative is agreed without extra cost. This website cannot reverse a payment because it never processes one.

Faulty or misdescribed goods

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides remedies where consumer goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. Depending on circumstances, rights can include a short-term right to reject, repair or replacement, and further remedies. These rights are separate from a change-of-mind return policy and are not restricted by the request process.

Reporting a problem

Provide your reference, the product name, date of the actual agreement or receipt and a clear description of the issue. Reasonable photographs can help identify damage but do not send unrelated sensitive information. Ask how the problem and any necessary return will be handled. No unsupported processing deadline, restocking fee or blanket exclusion of consumer rights is imposed here.
